Jenny Lian is a registered counsellor and psychotherapist with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia Reg. No. 27709). She specialises in culturally sensitive psychological help that empowers individuals facing life’s challenges. Jenny is a passionate and energetic mother of two Australian born multilingual children, with a highly inquisitive and nurturing personality.

Graduated from the prestigious Peking University in China and subsequently trained at Sydney’s Jansen Newman Institute, Jenny has experienced a rich and diverse professional and personal life in both China and Australia. She is able to empathise with migrants and migrant family’s experience, especially their cultural beliefs and values and their conflicts with the culture of their adopted country. Anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship issues in the cross-cultural and cross-generational context are the main topics that gets explored in the safe space of the Three Leaf Therapy room.

Jenny Lian’s therapy approach is nurturing, client-centred, trauma-informed and strength-based. Jenny Lian works to tailor therapy to meet each individual's unique needs. Drawing from evidence-based practices such as Ecotherapy, Mindfulness, and Psychodynamic techniques, she collaborates with clients to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that may be hindering personal growth.
